"Kingdom Coming" refers to the biblical term "Kingdom Come," which is a reference to life in heaven. The original term is used in this song to represent the great world that could be expected with the election of Hillary Clinton. The tune has been used in numerous campaign songs, including for George McClellan in 1864 and Ulysses S. Grant in 1868.
